Digital Project Manager

Job Description

Brighttail is a growing B2B marketing agency looking for a Digital Project Manager to join our Project Management Office.

The ideal candidate would be a motivated, forward-thinking, analytical, and organized professional and would have excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills.

As a Scrum Manager, you will manage Brighttail’s Scrum Teams as a servant leader. You will ensure that teams follow Agile practices and Scrum framework values, work to increase team efficiency, and provide motivation and guidance for process improvement in Brighttail.

What You’ll Achieve

As a Scrum Lead:

  • Manage each project’s scope and timeline
  • Manage and lead Scrum Leads to follow Agile practices and Scrum framework values
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members “own” the product and enjoy working on it

 

As a Digital Project Manager:

  • Scope project requirements and preparing budget accordingly
  • Manage and lead Junior Digital Project Manager(s) (when needed)
  • Create project plans and monitoring progress
  • Updating key stakeholders on project status
  • Manage client communications and expectations
  • Close collaboration with internal teams to implement digital projects
  • Plan digital campaigns deliverables from concept to delivery
  • Assessing working methods and processes and making recommendations for improvement of digital projects
  • Ensuring project profitability and developing detailed project plans
  • Identifying and implementing KPIs and project milestones
  • Reviewing project resources and providing an analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project
  • Ensure projects are managed in accordance with established Agile and Scrum frameworks
  • Developing strong stakeholder relationships and communication channels between the relevant parties
  • Regularly updating key stakeholders on project status
  • Informing stakeholders of budget implications
  • Analyzing the success of client campaigns, conducting reports and data analysis as supporting evidence
  • Finding opportunities for improvement

 

What is expected from you

  • Strong leadership skills: As a Digital Project Manager, you will need to be able to motivate and manage a team of people, often with conflicting personalities and opinions.
  • Excellent communication skills: You will need to be able to clearly communicate your project’s goals, objectives, and deadlines to your scrum team, as well as to any other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills: You will need to be able to keep track of all the different elements of your project, and ensure that they are all moving forward according to plan.
  • Good problem-solving skills: You will need to be able to quickly identify and solve any problems that arise during the course of your project.

Skills You’ll Need to Bring

  • 3+ years proven experience working as Digital Project Manager or in a similar role
  • Experienced in project management methodology preferably in Agile
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
  • Experience with managing the production schedule across an entire digital, brand or web development cycle
  • Experience managing large and complex digital projects
  • Project experience in reporting and relating documentation
  • Experience managing project roadmaps
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
