Brighttail is a growing B2B marketing agency looking for a Senior B2B Content Marketing Manager to oversee content development and thought leadership for our portfolio of technology brands across B2B sectors (semiconductors, SaaS, robotics, and more). Working with a team of content creators, you will lead strategy and day-to-day execution across a diverse range of projects, including white papers, ebooks, case studies, blog posts, websites, and more.

You are a creative marketing and content professional with a strong writing background, excellent story-telling skills, and extensive experience developing content throughout a full marketing funnel that appeals to your target audience. You will have a keen sense of the messages, stories, engagement models, and tactics that make sense with different audiences, roles, and levels.
You are passionate about leading teams, have a working knowledge of SEO to drive an optimized content experience, and excel at working cross functionally to build and execute complex content strategies. You are data-minded and are able to construct and evolve a measurement framework to connect content to pipeline.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Manage a team of content writers and strategists to develop impactful content that engages audiences and drives leads
  • Oversee strategy development and execution for B2B content across all stages of the buyer’s journey
  • Build and implement a performance measurement framework to report on the effectiveness of content and guide optimization decisions
  • Provide editorial direction to the content team to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, voice, and tone
  • Work closely with client SMEs (subject-matter experts) to understand products, markets, and customer needs
  • Empower others: Cultivate an inclusive team of strategic content professionals who openly brainstorm, co-edit, and share in the team’s successes.
  • Collaborate across various content producing teams to ensure we’re accurately serving our clients, as well as crafting efficiencies between teams.

Skills You’ll Need to Bring

  • 5+ years of experience developing content for B2B technology companies or content marketing agencies
  • Experience in B2B content strategy –– i.e. planning and creating content that attracts website visitors and converts them into leads
  • Creative and innovative thinker who can proactively come up with story ideas and manage projects from strategy to execution (with minimal supervision)
  • Strong track record of building engaging content in multiple formats
  • Thorough knowledge of web writing and SEO best practices
  • Meticulous English language skills, with keen eye for detail when it comes to punctuation, spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Bonus: familiarity with Atlassian’s software products
