Brighttail is a thriving B2B marketing agency looking for a Digital Copywriter to create compelling copy for websites, digital ads, email, video, and other digital mediums.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with exciting technology brands across B2B sectors (semiconductors, SaaS, robotics, and more). You will be responsible for collaborating on campaign strategies, crafting copy for websites and other digital media. Your understanding of UX best practices for digital mediums will also be put into practice.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a gift for engaging, conversion-oriented copywriting. You’re passionate about learning new technologies. You excel at distilling complex information into clear, engaging benefits. And you have a solid portfolio of B2B copywriting for a variety of digital projects. 

What You’ll Achieve

  • Collaborate with our team of strategists, designers, and developers to produce high-quality communications, from concept to execution, for email campaigns, websites, digital ads, and more
  • Develop strong client relationships through a solid understanding of their brand and exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Become knowledgeable about the latest products, solutions, and related technologies. Work to turn technical features into meaningful customer benefits
  • Proofread and copyedit your own copy and that of others to ensure proper grammar, punctuation, voice, and tone
  • Work closely with client SMEs (subject-matter experts) to understand products, market challenges, and customer needs

Skills You’ll Need to Bring

  • 3-5 years of agency experience as a copywriter, preferably in B2B, with a focus on digital
  • Digital is in your DNA. You have a strong understanding of technology, UX copywriting best practices, and digital platforms.
  • Fluent in writing for tech and business
  • Ability to build style guidelines, and adhere to existing guidelines in client work
  • Passion for strategy and a desire to dig into a brief, challenge a brief, or build upon a brief
  • Ability to take complex concepts and distill them into a conversational, helpful, and human writing
  • Great communication and presentation skills: able to present work and explain rationale for copy decisions to a broad audience
  • Meticulous English language skills, with keen eye for detail when it comes to punctuation, spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Humility, passion, and a sense of humor are a must
  • Bonus: familiarity with Atlassian’s software products (or demonstration of eagerness to learn is highly favored)
